Boris

Boris is a dude who likes heavy metal and having fun. He roams your desktop keeping you company throughout the year. RSS feed has been implemented for the 2017 release. A bunch of new behaviours have also made it in (he might have an accident if he drinks too much coffee), and significant adjustments to Boris' old, somewhat erratic, personality has been made. He now spends a lot more time relaxing and walking around and his needs are therefore more manageable.

Boris is completely free and open source. If you feel adventurous you can even add your own behaviours. Download Boris below:

SantaCandle

SantaCandle is a virtual christmas candle that functions just the way a real candle does. It was designed for workplaces where open fire is not allowed. Using SantaCandle, you and your colleagues can still enjoy the cozy christmas atmosphere right here on your desktop. Simply download and install, and you're good to go!

The candle burns in realtime, you can blow it out whenever you like and re-ignite it later. If you remove / quit the candle, it will continue where it left off the next time you bring it back. A word of advice though, don't leave it unattended, or the whole thing might catch on fire! Oh, and please don't disturb the gnomes...
